Alaya escape sunshine coast Retreat

ALAYA Escape is a ‘Peace’ of Paradise like no other.

Alaya Escape is unlike any other destination offering personal restoration and development, relationship reconnection or group retreats away from the day-to-day grind here on the Sunshine Coast.

This is due in part to the sheer beauty and peace within our environment, as well as facilities that we have brought in to help people to effortlessly decompress.

Alaya Escape is ideally situated on top of the Blackhall Mountain Range, ideally located between Mooloolaba (20 minutes) and Montville (15 minutes) and everything else that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

family owned

Alaya Escape is an opportunity which we feel incredibly grateful for and it has been a bonus that we have made so many enduring friendships with people who have stayed here.

It still amazes us and makes us feel incredibly proud when we see how people’s faces light up when they finally get to the retreat (it is a bit of a long, dusty and winding road getting here) and view our oasis for the first time.

RETREATS IN 2023

From February 2023 Alaya Escape will be offering 4-night structured retreats on site, as well as independent stays.

Whether your aim is for personal renewal through peace and quiet, float tank, massages, sauna, ice or hot tub soaking and pool or the  more intensive individual, couple or small group Positive Psychology retreats happening here each month, our mission is to assist people towards living amazing lives as authentic human beings rather than human doings.

favourite beaches

Alexandra Headlands: breakfast at surf-side kiosk and a swim. Electric atmosphere – health and happiness (23 minutes drive).

Coolum Beach: restaurants and our favourite cafe (Ma Boulange). Swim at main beach and take the ‘hound’ to Stumer’s dog-friendly beach around the corner (40 minutes drive).

Mooloolaba Beach: Parkyn Parade side is great for less business and calmer water. Great seafood right next to it that can be enjoyed right next to the ocean (20 minutes drive).
